His Hands & Feet Dance 2016.001Registration is closed

Our goal is to teach children to praise God through dance
 Psalm 150: 1-6

“Praise the Lord. Praise God in His sanctuary; praise Him in His mighty heavens. Praise Him for His acts of power; praise Him for His surpassing greatness. Praise Him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise Him with the harp and lyre, praise Him with timbrel and dancing, praise Him with the strings and pipe, praise Him with the clash of cymbals, praise Him with resounding cymbals. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.”

Ages 5 and up are welcome to join us!

Practice will open with a short children’s devotional. After that, they will be separated into a group that is best suited for them, and will learn their section of the dance. Karen Marable and Karissa Richards will be the primary dances teachers.

Parents are welcome to stay for the parents’ Bible study. Jena Beecher will be leading the study focusing on how to teach our children to praise God in all that they do.

If you are unable to attend the parents’ Bible study, please make sure you are at the church by 7:30 to pick up your child, or a late fee will incur.

Practices are on Tuesdays during the summer from 6:30pm-7:30pm

We will be having a night of praise the first Friday in August at 6:30pm, where the children will present their dance.

We only have 9 weeks to practice, which makes it essential that your child misses no more than 2 practices, to ensure that they learn all of the choreography. To be fair to all of the dancers, if your child misses 3 or more practices, he or she won’t be able to dance during the night of praise.Dancershadow2

Dress Code:

We ask that the children are dressed modestly. What do we mean by “modestly”? Make sure we can’t see their tummies and their clothes don’t have any inappropriate words/symbols on them. We recommend comfortable clothing so they can move easily. They are welcome to dance in socks or dance shoes.
