Ministries of PFWC
Sunday School C.G. Groups
C.G. stands for Connecting with each other and Growing in Christ. Our C.G. groups offer small classes each Sunday morning at 9:45 a.m. We offer classes for groups of all ages, with series subjects that change regularly. Classes are divided into adult, young adult, teens, and children.
Adult Electives
The Refuge Class, taught by Ray Oyler & Myra Taylor, is currently using the Wesley Bible Study Curriculum. They meet in the Wesley Prayer room.
The Beacon Class, taught by Pastor Myron & Rory MacGregor, is currently going through the book of Ephesians. They meet in the Family Center.
Teens
This class is growing and will one day be split between Middle School and High School. Currrently Pastor Scotty teaches this class.
Children
Our Children’s Sunday School C.G. group is taught by Leah Grigonis and meets in the Kidz Zone room and is a great way to establish a solid foundation for these young people.
Our S.S.C.G. groups currently meet Sundays at 9:45 a.m.
Music
God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Many church members get involved in our music ministry. Some play their instruments. Some are vocalists. Others get involved in drama. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of PFWC, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.
Epicenter Youth
1 Timothy 4:12 says “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.” At Epicenter, our focus is to be the center of what God is trying to do in the world around us.
How do we do that? Epicenter offers summer camps, mission trips, service projects, bible quizzing, and special events such as concerts and lock-ins.
Epicenter meets every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in the Family Center. The event includes a live youth band, relevant messages, games and more.
On Sundays, Epicenter gets together at 9:45 a.m. for games and deep discussion-based lessons from the bible.
Epicenter events also include Illumination, a gospel presentation on a regular basis, and Cannonball, for outreach oriented service projects.

Kidz ZONE Children’s Ministries
KIDZ ZONE Ministries is for children age 4 through 5th grade. Our purpose is to challenge the children to be:
• Zealous for God
• Obedient to God
• Normal in an abnormal world
• Examples to everyone
Kidz ZONE is offered on Sunday mornings during the worship service and on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 p.m. – 7:40 p.m. Recently, we redesigned a room just for this ministry. While participating, your children will experience everything from energetic songs to creative crafts and interesting Bible truths.
We began using KIDMO interactive ministry material in February of 2011 and it’s been a big hit. KIDMO is not about information, but transformation. We strive to teach God’s truth in ways that impact a child’s choices and actions. Creativity and imagination are precious resources for penetrating their language and culture. Kids must be needed, valued, and connected. Their church experience must be relevant to their daily lives. Kids have time, availability, and enthusiasm to accomplish great things for His Kingdom. A kid’s day-to-day existence is not side tracked by many of the complications that distract their adult counterparts. By teaching them to develop a biblical worldview, we can ignite an awakening that will impact generations to come. For the same reason that Jesus gave his attention to kids, we believe kids grow best when nurtured by loving mentors and teachers.
Son’s of David Men’s Ministry
We are excited about this recently developed ministry at PFWC. We meet one Sunday evening a month or we host a monthly activity. We also meet Tuesday mornings at 6:00 AM for a time of prayer and Bible Study before heading off to work.

Family Activities
It may be a camping retreat or some crazy event here at the church but we have events that the entire family can be a part of.
Nursing Home
We regularly reach out to those who are shut in through a Nursing Home service. Currently we are on a rotating basis with some other ministries going out to Emeritus Nursing Home. If you can sing, tell a story, or just love on people, come and join us!
Scouting
Penn Forest Worship Center is home to Cub Scout Pack 418 and Boy Scout Troop 418. The Scouts hold several activities on our campus, including the pinewood derby. For more information, visit:
