What Do We Believe?
Core Values
1. Celebrative Worship: This is the focus on the goodness of God and not ourselves. As we worship daily we grow more intimate in our relationship with Him.
Application – We worship as a group as well as individually through prayer, reading the Bible, singing and music.
2. Evangelism: This is the process of reaching people with the hope that Jesus Christ offers.
Application -We reach out as individuals, through outreach events, worship services and church planting.
3. Discipleship: This is the process of helping people become more like Jesus in their thoughts, feelings and actions.
Application -We help people grow in their faith through one-on-one discipleship, New Life Bible study lessons, Sunday School, and in the church services.
4. Ministry: This is the natural progression of a believer growing in their faith and realizing that they have unique gifts for serving others.
Application – We do this through the giving of our time; energy; talents; gifts and resources, and involvement in missions abroad.
5. Fellowship: This is the encouragement and accountability we should give to each other so that we can have a richer and fuller walk with Christ.
Application - We do this through structured and unstructured informal gatherings including: Baptism, Membership, Sports, Home Groups, and other opportunities to develop friendships.
6. Life: This is the reality that God has created life and instituted marriage and the family (Husband, Wife & Children), each should be guarded and protected.
Application – We do this through focusing the ministry of PFWC to the entire family and by taking a stand for life in all stages.
7. Relevancy: This is the process of presenting the enduring Message of hope that we have through Jesus Christ in a method that is understood by today’s society.
Application -We do this through an upbeat blended Worship service, energetic Youth & Children’s ministries and constantly evaluating every area of ministry.
